Asahi Intecc
Asahi Intecc
develops and supplies high-quality medical products using an integrated in-house production system that covers everything from the selection and treatment of raw materials to the manufacturing of final products.
Our newest guide wires (SION series, Gaia series, Fielder XT-R, XT-A) all feature the SION TECC composite core technology that ensures one-to-one torque transmission for optimal control.
SION TECC is also incorporated in our microcatheter Corsair Pro, which allows it to be rotated while pushing and thereby to advance it over 10 times further than with only push force applied. To complement Corsair Pro we have developed the microcatheter, Caravel, which is lower in profile and more flexible than Corsair Pro, allowing it to cross more tight and tortuous lesions. Despite the lower profile however, its inner diameter is bigger than Corsair, which enables freer control over the guide wire.
Our latest guiding catheter Hyperion combines safety and back-up, two characteristics that are traditionally considered to be a trade-off. Its safety is provided by the soft first curve and the radiopaque soft material used for the tip (that is rounded on both sides). Its reinforced second curve and special third curve on the other hand generate back-up through the larger surface area that contacts the contralateral wall.
Other PCI products in our line-up are Conquest Pro/CONFIANZA Pro (CTO guide wire), SheathLess Eaucath and ZenyteEX (guiding catheters).
